Hindrise Foundation is Continuously Working for Coronavirus Relief

Hindrise Foundation is adamant about working for coronavirus reliefand has delivered all possible assistance and aid to perish the problem associated with it in many rural areas. Our main agenda is, for now, is working for coronavirus relief amidst the chaos.

The COVID-19 crisis led to a dramatic loss and disaster in human life worldwide and has presented an unprecedented challenge to public health, the industrial sector, supply chain, etc. The economic and social disbalance and chaos caused by the pandemic is devastating: millions of people fell in the garb of falling into extreme poverty, whereas the number of undernourished people is currently estimated at near about 690 million, could increase by up to 132 million by the end of the year.

Various enterprises and organizations faced an existential threat. Nearly half of the world’s global workforces got at risk of losing their means of livelihood. Informal economy workers are more vulnerable because they lack social protection and access to quality health care and have lost access to all kinds of productive assets. With no means to earn an income during a pandemic, many families cannot feed themselves and their families. For most people, no payment means no food.

The pandemic has affected the entire system and has resulted in innumerable repercussions in people’s lives, predominantly rural areas. Closed borders, trade restrictions, and confinement measures have prevented farmers from accessing markets, including buying inputs and selling their produce. Agricultural workers from harvesting crops disrupt domestic and international food supply chains and reduce access to healthy, safe, and diverse diets. The pandemic has decimated jobs and placed millions of livelihoods at risk. As breadwinners lose jobs, fall ill, and die, the food security and nutrition of millions of women and men are under threat. We are steering high to avail at least the basic needs and medical equipment to most people.

Bringing Hopes amid COVID-19 Pandemic

As a social welfare NGO, we strive hard to bring hopes to millions of lives in rural and other backward areas by working for coronavirus relief. Firstly, let’s throw light on precisely what is the role of NGOs? NGOs or non-governmental organizations are the legal entities combating multiple socio-economic related problems. The activities include relief associated agencies, charities, and community organizations to tackle innumerable challenges related to education, health, poverty, women empowerment, protection, social justice, relief work, etc. Referred to as non-profits, the Non-profit organizations in India work independently in cooperation & aid with the government in partnership with the national or international organizations towards any particular plan.  Though India is blessed with a tradition of social welfare service and volunteering, NGOs formally emerged as a legal body post Independence scenario when voluntary agencies worked with the government on social and economic issues related to downtrodden sectors.
