How can we fight Economical hurdles?- Project Aavahan

“The most beautiful people we have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss and have found their way out of those depths.”

Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Rashid, an 18 years old boy who is working as a Barber in a salon on monthly basis wages. He had completed his 12th standard last year. Yet, due to some family problems(economic problem), he quit his study and joined the work, after listening to his thoughts and opinions I was ashamed because we live in a society where a male boy has a patriarchal burden to serve or support their family economically and morally both.

Because he is an elder son of his family, he can not waste his time on the further study; he should, or he must do some work to serve, or I can say to protect them (family) from hunger. He wants to study further, but he also wants to earn money to support his family. His problem gave me a thought that we as an NGO should start such initiatives for the youth which could help them and allowed them to keep their study and further could also make them able to work and earn a handsome amount of money simultaneously. As an Hindrise NGO we can provide them with a part-time job but as a professional or we can support them to start their start-up that will I think to make them stronger through which this youth could fight their economical as well as educational hurdles.

Now meet Ajeet, a 15 years old boy who is working on electrical and electronic repairing works. Unfortunately, he dropped his study after 8th standard and started working on this shop, but he desires to learn AC repairing work which could give him a handsome amount of repairing charges. So I think he is far away from the study. Still, he has talent in repairing electronic machinery so as an NGO we can provide some better technical courses or training or education that will help him to make his life more comfortable.
