Amid the first and second wave of COVID-19 Pandemic, the entire world went through pain, loss, and suffering at a massive level. However, places with the scarcity of healthcare facilities and mismanagement at the hospitals suffered the most. In Bihar, most of the families have lost their breadwinners due to unavailability of oxygen beds and proper healthcare support system. After taking this point into consideration, Hindrise Founder, Narendra Kumar decided to build a 100-bed hospital in Sitamarhi equipped with modern healthcare facilities.

Why there is a Need to Strengthen Public Healthcare Infrastructure in Sitamarhi and Other Parts of Bihar?

We are aiming to uplift the senior citizens who may become the victim of social negligence if left unsupported.

• Around 134 Public Health Centres are required in Sitamarhi district.
• Unfortunately, in Sitamarhi, only 16 Public Health Centres (PHCs) are available.
• 118 PHCs are the urgent necessity of the time.
• The healthcare centres as well as sub-centres are not performing well.
• More than 2.5 lakhs people succumbed to death in Bihar during the first and second wave of the pandemic.
• As per the NITI Aayog Report, district hospitals in Bihar have 6 beds per one lakh population.

Now, only miraculous transformation can change the fortune of Sitamarhi residents.

The intent behind the initiation of the 100-bed hospital in Sitamarhi, Bihar, is to ensure that less privileged ones who belong to Sitamarhi district and other parts of Bihar can easily get access to advanced healthcare treatment, and no one should die due to scarcity of medical resources in the villages of the Sitamarhi district.

Narendra Kumar, the man behind Hindrise quoted that he is an eyewitness to the death due to scarcity of beds & oxygen in the hospital.
